Abstract

Like many other industries, enterprise IT is undergoing rapid transformation due to the adoption of artificial intelligence. Cloud-native companies leverage AI to optimize their infrastructure costs, while established enterprises struggle with legacy systems across multiple providers. A Fortune 100 technology services company, implemented an AI-driven platform that unified metrics across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to achieve a 27% reduction in cloud expenditure. This initiative is on track to save $12 million annually through automated resource optimization and cross-cloud arbitrage. However, the cloud computing landscape presents a particularly complex environment for AI disruption—a delicate balance between cost management, technical performance, and organizational change. In this paper, we examine challenges within the multi-cloud ecosystem and predict how enterprise cloud management will evolve over the next 12-24 months.
