Ken Morse founded the MIT Entrepreneurship Center and served as its Managing Director for 13 years. He was also a co-founder of 3Com, which was acquired by HP for $2.7B in 2009. He is currently Chairman & CEO of Entrepreneurship Ventures, serves on eight boards, and is a Visiting Professor at ESADE Business School in Barcelona. Liz Asai is an expert in digital health startups, software as a medical device (SaMD), and early commercialization of new healthcare technology. She currently serves as Hologic’s Global Head of AI & Connectivity, spearheading their effort to develop AI solutions for breast and skeletal applications worldwide. Liz began her career co-founding a startup, 3Derm, that commercialized a teledermatology platform and developed diagnostics for skin cancer detection. She served as CEO until 2020 when 3Derm was acquired by Digital Diagnostics. Post-acquisition, Liz served as VP of Strategic Development at Digital Diagnostics overseeing pre-market development of their pipeline of AI products. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University.

Steve Smith has a BS in electrical engineering from MIT, a Master of Applied Sciences degree from Harvard and spent ten years at Thinking Machines before serving as President and CEO of OPTA for nearly a decade. After that, he founded ed-tech startup JogNog, and has been its President and CEO for the last 15 years. Steve is a consultant and advisor to multiple startups coming out of the MIT and Harvard ecosystems, and is a mentor with the MIT Venture Mentorship Service and the Harvard Innovation Labs.
