He has over 30 years' experience building and running global P&Ls for high-tech startups, and has focused on leveraging technology to optimize operational efficiency and revenue growth. He has worked in 39 countries and is a native speaker of Japanese and English. He is also Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Farpoint Ventures, and Chief Digital Officer of Sales Growth Strategies LLC. He has served as a Mentor at the Harvard Innovation Labs for the past five years.

Ken Morse founded the MIT Entrepreneurship Center and served as its Managing Director for 13 years. He was also a co-founder of 3Com, which was acquired by HP for $2.7B in 2009. He is currently Chairman & CEO of Entrepreneurship Ventures, serves on eight boards, and is a Visiting Professor at ESADE Business School in Barcelona. Ken holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA in International Marketing from Harvard Business School.

Liz Asai is an expert in digital health startups, software as a medical device (SaMD), and early commercialization of new healthcare technology. She currently serves as Hologic’s Global Head of AI & Connectivity, spearheading their effort to develop AI solutions for breast and skeletal applications worldwide. Liz began her career co-founding a startup, 3Derm, that commercialized a teledermatology platform and developed diagnostics for skin cancer detection. She served as CEO until 2020 when 3Derm was acquired by Digital Diagnostics. Post-acquisition, Liz served as VP of Strategic Development at Digital Diagnostics overseeing pre-market development of their pipeline of AI products. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University.

Shannon Moore has over 10 years’ experience advising healthcare companies and private payers on a diverse range of commercial strategic issues. She currently works with Harrison.ai driving development and commercialization of AI-powered clinical software with applications in radiology and pathology. Additionally, she supports investment decision-making for future integrations of AI in the healthcare landscape. Shannon holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Rice University.

Stephen Smith

Steve Smith has a BS in electrical engineering from MIT, a Master of Applied Sciences degree from Harvard and spent ten years at Thinking Machines before serving as President and CEO of OPTA for nearly a decade. After that, he founded ed-tech startup JogNog, and has been its President and CEO for the last 15 years. Steve is a consultant and advisor to multiple startups coming out of the MIT and Harvard ecosystems, and is a mentor with the MIT Venture Mentorship Service and the Harvard Innovation Labs.

Patrick Tammer
Director of Investments, Scale AI

Patrick Tammer is an Investment Director with Scale AI, Canada's AI Innovation Cluster, where he manages a $100M+ portfolio of AI industry projects. In his role, Patrick works closely with large industry companies and innovative startups to structure and finance large AI transformation projects. Prior to joining Scale AI, Patrick worked for the Boston Consulting Group in Toronto, and for the United Nations Development Program in New York City. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics & political science from Freie Universitaet Berlin, a master's degree in management from HEC Paris and a master's in public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Sam Koch

Sam is a cofounder at sellwithotto.ai (SWO), an AI tool that facilitates outbound messaging for private equity firms looking to acquire businesses. To date they have generated over $16B in proprietary deal flow for the funds that they work with. Prior to SWO, Sam worked at RapidSOS and StubHub. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Brown and a masters in business administration from Harvard Business School.
